He spent some time explaining everything involved with the installation of a solar system, his product knowledge was the catalyst which made us choose a True North Solar system. |

I chose True North Solar for several reasons. Let me say first that I believe, due to tight regulations in the industry in Australia, that all systems will be of pretty decent quality materials. Also, all systems must be installed by certified licensed installers and connected by an electrician. So, with that in mind, what are the differences? The questions I asked myself were, is this company likely to be operating in 30 years from now? Can I trust them and their staff to do a good job? Is their price competitive? So, after meeting the Salesman from True North at my house and discussing my requirements, and after researching who True North Solar was, I opted for their installation. He offered a discount on the system which I thought was quite good. |

All True North staff have been very helpful and communicative. The installers were very experienced electricians with solar certification. They were able to do a very neat tidy installation which I am very pleased with. The installation took 1 1/2 days during light patchy rainy days. |

Carbon tax or no carbon tax, we believe in action speak louder than words. The governments incentive scheme for renewable energy is what made us decide in taking action NOW, about a clean alternative to run our everyday household appliances, including climate control during the warmer months.
Now, after LOCAL man Kash Partridge and his Team of dedicated sparkies installed on our roof a 7.5 Kw solar system my family has no longer a electricity bill. Instead we now just get a statement from ERGON of how much electricity we used and how much we are in the black (credit) with ERGON.
Next month we have the solar system producing free electricity now for 12 months. We have done some calculations and if all goes well we should have paid it off in about 5-7 years, possible sooner. With electricity charges on the rise the solar Power system will pay for itself.
We are pensioners and instead of going on a long and expensive holiday, we decided to get our priorities right and plan for our future instead.
Our hot water is free, ( solar panels heat the water and so far we did not have to use electricity to boost up the system).
Our electricity is free, and paying itself off.. ..all we can say for now is, " we should have done it earlier".
At the moment we produce surplus electricity that could power another 3 homes. Some of our neighbours have already caught on and are following our lead.
If it wasn't for our car we would be Carbon neutral.
Kash Partridge and his teamsters, being a local company, are keeping an eye on its performance and should we have any queries they are out like a flash, no but's or if's. We wish Kash and his teamsters a prosperous continuation of their ability to install many more Solar power panel systems here in Townsville and district.

Well we are up and running - now have to become familiar with doing a reading. It was quite exciting to see the meter running backwards. Chris did a great job of showing us what he and his team had done and also explaining to us how to read the inverter.
We would also like to say that Chris and his team not only did a great job but they are such polite, cheerful young men and answered other queries we had as well and are a compliment not only to themselves but to True North Solar.
"Thank you" to Noel who organized for our new light fittings - it's great to have light again in the carport and patio.
